Why Take
a Salt Bath?
During the
course of the day or night we are often bombarded with stress
and negativity. Sometimes elements of stress, or negative thought
forms can attach to our bioplasmic field. The bioplasmic field
(also known as the etheric body) surrounds us ... many people
can see this - it appears as sort of a luminous glow around the
body. The salt bath cleanses the bioplasmic field, allowing us
to slough off any of these negative elements before they can take
hold and manifest themselves in our physical being as illness
or emotional or mental upset.
Instructions
Fill bathtub
with warm water. Pour
2-3 cups of regular (non-iodized) table salt into the water. Some
people prefer to use kosher salt or canning and pickling salt
(which does not have the anti-caking agent in it which may cause
skin irritation for some people). Submerge
your entire body (from head to toe) by holding your nose and placing
your head under water periodically.
After bath,
take a warm shower, using soap to wash off impurities that you
have dislodged from the body. If you feel light headed, take time
to drink some water. I recommend drinking distilled or regular
water before and after your bath. The bath water may turn different
colors, this just means you are releasing toxins or negative energy.
These baths are also good for sore muscles and de-stressing the
body. After your shower, towel dry, then use sesame oil (cold-pressed)
or your favorite body moisturizer and lightly cover skin.
After Your
Bath
You will feel
relaxed and somehow lighter. There are many reasons for this.
First, you have cleansed your bioplasmic field of any negative
energy. Second, you have generated a cleansing and healing process
at the cellular level of the skin. Have you ever noticed after
having dental surgery the doctor recommends you rinse your mouth
with wam salt water? This is to kill bacteria, keep it clean and
allow for the healing process. Our bodies react to warm water
and salt in a healing and cleansing way.
