Sedona Retreat

Welcome to Sedona!!! Breathtaking beauty that fills the senses and feeds the soul. Our journey will welcome us with Arizona's signature breathtaking red rock mountains, amazing landscapes, wonderful people and invigorating hot weather. A spiritual gathering to embrace and experience sacred places and timelessness. This magical place invites you to open your heart and walk the ancient paths of many ancestors. Gathering together as a group to journey to new destinations. Billie Topa Tate and other Native Elders will honor us with story telling, sacred drumming, Medicine Wheel and Sweat Lodge. All in a magical place where ceremony and Native people still grace the land

Gathering together as a group every morning to journey to new destinations. While walking the path and taking in all the breath taking landscapes Billie Topa Tate will honor her students with story telling and sacred drumming on the side of the beautiful red rock mountains. Calling her native American spiritual guides to join us in this beautiful and sacred time together. As sunset begins we travel together to our afternoon teaching with Billie. We will be presented with an open discourse of Native storytelling each evening.

Schnebly Hill A sacred place, a land where Native people shared time with elders, medicine wheels and the technicolor landscape. The magnificent columns and buttes make the area famous for its spectacular scenery. Connection to mother earth and our ancestors on a sacred walk, prayer and drum circle.

Red Rock Crossing We are treated to some spectacular high desert scenery. The way up and down the ridges and river walks, is sure to thrill you and weave a time and life of harmony with nature and breath taking views. Look for a walking stick at the beginning; it's become a tradition to leave your stick there after you finish hiking. We walk the river path to the end where the path turns to pools and a special ceremonial ground is hidden away.
Sacred Drumming The gift of the drum is that it enables us to once again communicate in the sacred language of Spirit, creating sacred space, invoking the powers of creation, journeying, initiating change through intent, archetypal healing rhythms, and the universal rhythm that comes into play whenever we drum.
Native Sweat Lodge The Sweat Lodge is probably the most important Native Ritual. The "inipi" or "sweat lodge" usually occurs before and after every other major rituals like the "Sundance" and "Vision Quest". It is also a "stand alone" ritual meaning that it occurs whenever it is needed. Its original purpose was to cleanse or purify individuals.
