Reach New Dehli
safely and prepare for travel to our final destination.

Reached destination,
arrived safely. We are in a small village 17 hours from New Dehli.
The travel was long and dusty but very much worth the time and
travel. Outside is the chanting of the monastics and the air is
filled with their meanings and substance. This is a good and special
experience for me and for Fred. Telephone communication may not
be possible on this leg of the trip. Please convey my loving greetings
to everyone. I will try to send more correspondence when I can.

When
we reached New Dehli it was very crowded and there was very little
time to sit - but that is okay - because there was nowhere to
sit! We took care of some business we had in New Dehli proper
and then waited for the train. Then it was about a 17 or 18 hour
train ride to our destination. Though the ride was very very long,
the miracles and related substance were very much as well. These
are stories I'm saving, which I wish to share upon my return.
The Lama who
is our instructor comes to this small village every year in December.
The Bodhi Tree is here as well. The smiles are many and so are
the mosquitoes! The dust is always a interesting challenge.
We met with
many of the people and monastics at the temple, also we had a
letter of introduction to the doctor - Director of the Tibetan
medical center in the temple. She was very nice and invited us
back - especially if we needed medical attention.
Fred and I
are making sure the insects don't eat us alive, and we try to
eat healthy. My spiritual teachers are always watching over us
and guiding our path.
Tomorrow is
another day of being taught the Phowa and its lineage. The teachings
have been very excellent. This is very good and I can't wait to
share.
I will try
to write more tomorrow. tonight I am going to shower and do some
meditation. Namaste and I look forward to sending correspondence
tomorrow. Much
love, Billie and Fred
